Our online resources are free to use because we would like Arthur’s story to be recognised, valued and drawn upon as widely as possible to support education and community cohesion, especially regarding young people. However, we warmly welcome voluntary donations, of whatever size, via FURD’s MyDonate page. Any donations we receive will be used to continue the valuable work of the FURD Resources Centre and the circulating of our physical Arthur Wharton exhibition. We would also be pleased to add your name and logo here in recognition of your support.
Football Unites, Racism Divides would like to thank our friends at the Heritage Lottery for supporting the Arthur Wharton Heritage Project and enabling us to bring the story of this adopted Yorkshire man to the wider world. We are also very appreciative of the continuing support from Gordon Taylor OBE, Bobby Barnes and Simone Pound of the PFA.
Thanks to those who worked closely with us on the project including all the fantastic young people, teachers and schools who took part in our creative projects. Not least, thanks to our core team and key contributors, in particular: Sheila Leeson, Lisa Sultanti, Lloyd Samuels, Jenson Grant, Rory Gault, Anna Warwood, David Burkinshaw, Kevin Titterton, Ruth Johnson, Phil Vasili, Howard Holmes, Vicky Morris and John Stocks.
